When One Door Closes...

...Another One Opens.

This is the first of what we hope to be a regular, possibly, weekly blog post

Meibukan Gojyu Ryu Karate Do, Victoria, has found the need to leave the hall that has been our home for about 16 months. Our new home will be at the 

Livingston Family & Community Centre

While we've been here, at Clyde Public Hall, we have had a few walk ins and some students have left us...                                                   

We have had 3 gradings in total, and 4 student promotions. 

As of 2020, we will be holding gradings every 3 months, giving the opportunity for the kids to progress at a reasonably standard rate.  

These blog entries will vary from looking at what we did on a specific night, to ideas about the bunkai(analysis) of a specific Kata, and then opinions about how the oyo(application) turned out.  I am a huge fan of questioning everything.

Sometimes it will just be to welcome new students into our ranks.

This post is just a heads up about what is to come and the fact that we're moving house.
